How the process works.
We've broken down the process into stages, to give you a clear idea of what goes into the creation of a memory film.

Step 1. Our first contact.
The very first thing we will do is organise a time to connect virtually.
This initial meeting gives us an opportunity to get acquainted and discuss the details of your project.
Of course we'll talk about what you'd like your film to be about, but this is the point at which we'll also discuss things like duration, deadlines and any extras you might wish to add on.
From this call, we will put together a quote for you to take a look at.

Step 2. The kick-off call.
Once the project parameters have been agreed upon and the deposit has been paid, we will meet once again, this time for the kick-off call.
This is where we learn about what we're making in detail.
Ahead of this call we will have asked you to fill out a questionnaire relating to the film you would like to create.
We will then talk with you in-depth about the subject matter to get a better idea of the story we're trying to tell and the narrative thread which will support it.
Once this call is finished, we move on to the scripting stage.

Step 3. The scripting begins.
Based on the things we learnt during the kick-off call, we will then begin to write the script for your memory film.
This script is the basis for the film's narrative arc and is where most of our emotional impact will come from. This is the difference between a slideshow - a collection of photos and some music - and real storytelling.
This is an incredibly collaborative process so the script will be shared with you for your feedback regularly.

With our script agreed, it's time to begin our edit.
Before that can happen though, we will need for you to share with us the all important content.
We will send you a link allowing you to upload your content directly from your devices.
Once we're in possession of these assets, the real magic can begin.
We will begin to build out the story against the voiceover script; using music. up-sync and pacing to build our narrative and tone.
Step 4. The edit.

Step 5. Review.
We will then share a first version with you for your review.
This is where we suggest you put your phones on silent, turn the lights off and really immerse yourself in the experience of watching your memory film for the first time.
How does it make you feel? Are there important pieces of content which aren't featured? Does the music feel wrong, or is anything unclear?
This is the point where you leave us any notes you have on things you would like us to address or amend.

Step 6. Delivery.
Once any of your notes have been actioned and you're happy, we will send you a link to download a high-quality final version of your memory film.
Any additional versions you have asked for, shorter cuts for instargram for example, will also be shared with you at this final stage
